Fundraising is a very important part of our activities and enables us to buy additional equipment, toys, puzzles, books etc. It also helps subsidise activities for the children such as an outing and the Christmas party.

Details of fundraising activities are normally mentioned in the newsletter and advertised by poster on our entrance doors. Please support as much as you can, remember it is for the benefit of the children!

FUNDRAISING NEWS – December 2011

A big thank you goes to all our parents that turned out in force for this year’s Christmas Fayre.  The hall was full to capacity with stalls offering a variety of christmas goodies and Father Christmas even put in a special appearance in a gorgeous grotto!   We raised nearly £400 for pre-school funds – a much needed amount and a sum that will be put towards new development toys in the new year.  A big thanks to Sam Tree for all her hard work in organising such a fantastic event!

XMAS PARTY 2011

We were delighted to welcome back Peter from Educational Animal Experiences for the children’s christmas party this year at no extra cost our parents!  (We were able to fund this visit from our fundraising efforts throughout the year).   We had great fun looking, touching and holding all different kinds of animals, from cockroaches to snakes, rats to a tortoise!  Look out for photographs in our scrap books in the New Year.  Educational Animal Experiences can be booked for your own children’s parties.  For more information please see their website: www.educationalanimalexperiences.co.uk
